Operra (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the OperraBooking platform at operrabooking.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information when you use the Platform. By using the Platform you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide directly:
- Account registration details (name, email address, password).
- Electronic signatures you draw when signing contracts.
- Files and documents you upload through the Platform.
- Messages or notes you submit within your planning workspace.
Information collected automatically:
- Log data such as IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps.
- Device information including operating system and screen resolution.
- Authentication tokens and session identifiers necessary to maintain your session.
Information provided by businesses:
- When an event business sends you an invitation through Operra, we receive your name and email address as provided by that business.
- Event details, tasks, timelines, and contract documents created by the business and shared with you through the Platform.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Create and manage your account and authenticate your identity.
- Provide, operate, and improve the Platform and its features.
- Deliver transactional emails (invitations, contract notifications, account alerts).
- Store and serve documents, signatures, and files you and the businesses share.
- Enforce our Terms of Service and applicable laws.
- Respond to your support requests and communications.
- Analyze aggregate usage patterns to improve Platform performance and design.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your data for targeted advertising.
3. How We Share Your Information
We may share your information with:
- Event businesses you are connected to — when you accept an invitation, the business can see your name, email, and activity within their shared workspace.
- Service providers — we use AWS (cloud infrastructure and storage), Resend (transactional email), and Vercel (hosting). These providers process data on our behalf under confidentiality obligations.
- Legal requirements — we may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of Operra and its users.
4. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored on AWS infrastructure in the United States. We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption at rest and in transit (TLS), server-side encryption for all stored files, and role-based access controls. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure; while we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Platform. Contract records and signatures are retained for a minimum of seven (7) years to comply with legal and business obligations. You may request deletion of your account at any time (see Section 7).
6. Cookies and Tracking
The Platform uses strictly necessary cookies to maintain your authentication session. We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising pixels on the Platform. For more detail, see our Cookie Policy.
7. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Request deletion of your account and associated personal data (subject to legal retention obligations).
- Object to or restrict certain processing of your data.
- Receive a portable copy of data you have provided.

8. Children’s Privacy
The Platform is not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately so we can delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and may notify you by email. Continued use of the Platform after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
